Joe Klepk
Engineer / Lead Electrical Designer

Joe is our Lead Electrical Designer at BP (formerly Amoco Chemical) in Joliet.  He has over 14 years experience in power distribution, instrumentation, and computer drafting using both AutoCAD and Microstation.  He has performed motor control design, circuit protection design, conduit routing, wire sizing, instrument specification, and field verification for projects such as utilities/waste treatment DCS, phosphoric acid pump replacement, plant security system, and the TMA bridging/hygiene project.  He has specified instrumentation and developed instrument loop diagrams.  He develops cost estimates and schedules on specific projects and coordinates construction and installation with electrical contractors.  His previous experience includes electrical CAD and field work at Exxon-Mobil in Joliet and Equistar in Morris, Illinois.
