We provided piping and electrical design services in PIA and Utilities, and assisted Kellogg Brown & Root with the TMA Bridging project, in the Joliet Chemical plant.  We also provided piping design support for the Whiting Chemical plant.

We performed piping design, layout, instrumentation, and power design for an LDPE heat exchanger replacement, for replacing two ethylene pumps, for improvement to two ethylene storage tanks, and for flare gas piping modifications at Equistar’s Morris, IL plant.  We designed modifications to steam piping including performing a stress analysis.  We developed designs for LDPE 13.8kV and 4.16kV motor protective relay upgrades, and developed a site plan and building plan for a steel oil drum storage building.

We specified new boilers and performed piping, electrical, and instrument design for a system to provide process steam to two mixers and two drum heaters at the Essex plant in Kankakee, IL.  We also developed P&ID’s and an equipment layout for a new process line.

We developed electrical hazardous area drawings for crude, vacuum, and other units and provided electrical design and CAD services, including developing power plans, conduit routing, and wiring diagrams in the vacuum unit at Clark’s Blue Island, IL refinery.
